If you're moving more than 100 miles but still within California, it's an intrastate move billed as a flat rate based on weight/volume. Any move across state lines is a long-distance interstate move — we do not perform interstate moves. We only move customers within CA.

Local moves under 100 miles are priced by the number of movers needed, time required, and double driving time between residences. We can provide a not-to-exceed price with a visual estimate, but only after seeing your inventory.

Long-distance moves are priced by distance and the weight/volume of your shipment. A free in-home estimate (in-person or video) lets our trained estimators give you a fixed price. You may also request a weight ticket, with a small fee from the scale. We always use dedicated trucks and never consolidate loads.

Used only on local, hourly-billed moves under 100 miles, this is a written guarantee that your move won't cost more than the stated maximum. After the first 4-hour minimum, we bill in 15-minute increments. If costs exceed the contract price, you don't pay the difference — as long as no items or extra packing were added. Adding items or packing voids the not-to-exceed price.

Local moves: no extra charge, though stairs/elevators naturally add time, which is reflected in your hourly not-to-exceed price. Long-distance moves over 100 miles may include these charges, but they're typically already built into your flat rate. No. Gratuity is customary but not required — a typical guide is $5–$10 per mover, per hour. If you choose not to tip, it won't affect the quality of your move.
